Who We Are
Two Js is an editorial team made up of husband-and-wife team, Josey Diaz and Joel Martin.
Josey Diaz
Copy Editor
Attention to detail takes many forms and Josey Diaz wants to master them all. She started off utilising her graphic design skills in corporate and marketing design. Following her academic portfolio in creative writing, Josey has her most recent credits in the Athelstan 1100 celebration publications, The Women Who Made Athelstan: Letter Collection. Josey splits her time between her new home in Melbourne, Australia and New Jersey, USA.
Joel Martin
Structural Editor
Joel Martin is an editor with over twelve years of experience within multimedia formats. Beginning with video game script editing and then working as a MS assessor for Writer’s Victoria, Joel has a passion for bringing out a story’s full potential. He co-founded Speculate and the Victorian Speculative Writers Festival in 2018 and has worked within the literary industry in Melbourne for the last ten years.

Our focus is on genre writing. Speculative fiction is a particular love for us. Joel is a fan of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, while Josey loves sinking her teeth into Horror and Thriller. That being said, we welcome any and all genres.
